The Christmas Lights are lit, and Romsey Town Centre is looking it's festive best.
Visitors are visiting, to shop in many of the varied independant gift shops, visit the magnificent Abbey for a concert or two or to walk awhile around the delightful streets. The cafes and tea rooms are busy to the sound of laughter and chattering with the smells of Christmas as they drink a cup of tea and eat a delicious mince pie.
The schools in the area are visiting the Abbey for their annual Christmas Carol Concerts and music concerts are to be heard throughout the town.
The Romsey Lantern Parade and Late Night Shopping Event will be held on Friday 7th December with Santa's Grotto being the 'must visit' place to be in Bradbeers Courtyard from 4pm.
Carols in the Market Place will take place on Monday 17th December. Join Michelmersh Silver Band and the Churches of Romsey singing carols around the town's pretty Christmas Tree from 7pm.
Romsey Town residents and traders welcome all visitors and we take this opportunity to wish you all a "Very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year".
