Visit Salisbury and enjoy walking through the city's medieval streets, exploring more than 800 years of history at the Cathedral, or taking in the iconic site of Stonehenge.
Salisbury has plenty of parks and green spaces to walk or picnic, as well as leisure activities to suit all ages and abilities.
Regular art exhibitions and events take place throughout the year, and look out for the biennial Salisbury Arts Trail where you can visit galleries not usually open to the public.
Salisbury has a wide range of shops, including independents and high street favourites. The Charter Market still takes place in the heart of the city, twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, selling fresh produce and household goods. Look out for the specialist markets, the fortnightly farmer's market, monthly vintage market and the Salisbury Christmas Market in the Guildhall Square.
The city centre has a wide selection of restuarants around the city on it's historic streets and country pubs on the outskirts. Pubs, restuarants and cafes offer everything from traditional to the exotic. There are even pubs with ghosts!
