Return to the world of Norman Thelwell

Thelwell: Laughter and Landscapes will have some favourite images on show, including iconic characters Penelope and her pony Kipper. The exhibition also includes Norman Thelwell's observations on country life, satirical cartoons and landscapes.

The exhibition will also include works not previously shown before, include some early wartime sketches, which provided Thelwell with the foundation for his later illustrations.

Normal property admission price applies, visitors unable to access the 2nd floor gallery can view digital versions of exhibitions on iPads from lower levels.
