The Plaza Theatre

An art deco venue with bucketfuls of character

The Plaza was built in 1931 as a cinema and the theatre facade is characteristic of Art Deco. Romsey Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (RAODS) own and operate the theatre, which is close to Southampton, Salisbury and Winchester.

An art deco venue with bucketfuls of character, the Plaza offers Pantomime, Musicals, Comedy, Drama, Dance, Youth productions and Live Music.

Visit to explore the theatre, its facilities and forthcoming shows.
