The magnificent 180 acre Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is world famous for its arboretum and gardens. Open all year, the Gardens offers beauty and inspiration throughout the seasons. Outstanding attractions include:the iconic 250m long double summer border, Pond, Bog Garden and one of the largest Winter Gardens in Europe.

Established by the distinguished plantsman Sir Harold Hillier in 1953, it is home to 14 National Collections, over 400 Champion Trees and 42,000 plants from temperate regions. It is one of the most important modern plant collections in the world.

Whatever your age the gardens are an amazing place to visit all year round. Try out the exciting childrens play features, view an exhibition, take a tour or a workshop - there's events happening weekly at Hilliers.
